A website that works for everyone.
Insurance protects everyone, so our website should serve everyone. Here is what williamtuttleagency.com does for accessibility — and how to tell us when it falls short.
The William Tuttle Agency works to make this website conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we do not claim perfect conformance. If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, contact our Owatonna office at (507) 451-1168 or wtuttle@farmersagent.com — we will fix what we can and help you directly with whatever the site could not.
What does this site do for accessibility?
Keyboard navigation
Menus, forms, and controls work without a mouse, and a "Skip to content" link on every page jumps past the navigation.
Visible focus
Links, buttons, and form fields show a clear visible outline when focused, so keyboard users always know where they are.
Alt text and labels
Meaningful images carry text alternatives, and every form field has a label that screen readers announce.
Comfortable targets
Buttons and tap targets are sized at least 44 pixels, so they are easy to hit on a phone or with limited dexterity.
Reduced motion
If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's scroll animations and transitions are turned off.
Color contrast
Text and interface colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios, in both the navy and cream sections of the site.
How do I report an accessibility issue?
Tell us what page you were on and what went wrong — a sentence or two is enough. We read every report, and we will respond and work to fix confirmed issues promptly.

Nothing on this site is internet-only. Anything you can do here — request a quote, start a claim, ask a coverage question — a real person at our office will gladly do with you by phone.
Where are we still working?
Some content lives on third-party services we do not control, such as the Farmers appointment-booking page and Google Maps links, and it may not meet the same standard. We also keep reviewing our own pages as the site grows, and this statement will be updated as that work continues.
