The William Tuttle Agency (Tuttle Family LLC, a Farmers Insurance Premier Agency, "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and our forms, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us when you request a quote, send a message, or apply to join our team. This typically includes:

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• Your ZIP code and the state you are in
• Details about what you would like to insure, and any notes you add
• For job applicants, your role of interest, licensing status, and resume or message

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and the embedded tools we use (such as the Google Map on our contact page and our web fonts) may automatically receive basic technical information like your browser type and IP address. The analytics and advertising tools we may use are described under Analytics and advertising cookies below.

How we use your information

We use your information to prepare and deliver your quote, to service your policies, to respond to your questions, to consider your job application, and to contact you about your business with our agency. We contact you only about your own relationship with the William Tuttle Agency. We do not send unrelated marketing on behalf of other companies.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not sell your data for advertising or any other purpose. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. If we are ever required by law to change how we handle your data, we will update this policy and tell you here.

How we share information

We share your information only as needed to serve you, and only with:

• Insurance carriers. The companies we work with, including Farmers and our other carriers, so we can quote and place your coverage.
• Service providers. Vendors who help us run the agency, such as our email, lead, and text-messaging providers, who may only use the information to perform that service for us.
• Legal and regulatory bodies. When we are required to by law, regulation, or to protect our rights.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties other than the providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, and only so they can deliver the service you requested.

Text messages and your data

If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from us related to your quote, your policies, billing, and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. The full terms of our text program are in our Terms and Conditions.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with our messaging service provider solely to deliver the messages you have requested, or as required by law.

Cookies and third-party services

This site keeps cookies to a minimum. Third-party features we embed, such as Google Maps and Google Fonts, may set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The analytics and advertising tools we may use are described in the next section.

Analytics and advertising cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and general (not precise) location. We use Google Consent Mode to honor applicable consent choices. If enabled, we may also use the Meta pixel and Google Ads tags for measurement and remarketing, which means you may see our ads on other sites and platforms after visiting this one. These tools set cookies and are governed by their providers' own privacy policies.

We also use the OpenAI advertising pixel so we can measure the ads we run through ChatGPT and see which of them lead to a quote request. We want to be specific about what that one does, because it collects more than a page view:

• Hashed contact details. When you type into a form on this site, the pixel may take your email address, phone number and name, convert each one into an irreversible SHA-256 hash on your device, and send the hashes — not the plain values — to OpenAI. This is how it recognizes that someone who saw our ad later asked us for a quote. OpenAI calls this Automatic Advanced Matching. It is the same technique used by the Meta and Google advertising pixels.
• Approximate location. City, state and postal code may be included in the same hashed form.
• Never payment or password fields. The pixel is built to skip them, and we do not ask for payment details on this website at all.
• A server-side copy. When you submit a quote request, our server may report that same conversion directly to OpenAI, tagged with a one-time event ID so the same submission is not counted twice. It carries the fact that a quote was requested. It does not carry your answers — not the vehicles, the property, the drivers, or anything you told us about your situation.

What none of these tools ever receive is the substance of what you tell us. Your address, date of birth, driver's license number, claims history, coverage details and the contents of your quote request go to our agency and to the carrier we approach on your behalf. They are not sent to an advertising platform, and we do not sell them.

You can opt out in several ways:

• Browser settings. Block or delete cookies in your browser's privacy settings.
• Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Ad personalization. Manage your preferences in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative.

Opting out of these tools does not affect our core promises above: we do not sell your information, and your mobile opt-in data is never shared for marketing.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us and limit access to the people and providers who need it to do their work. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations as a licensed insurance agency, then dispose of it securely. Form submissions are retained only as long as they are needed to provide the service you requested and to satisfy those obligations. You can request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to our recordkeeping obligations, by emailing wtuttle@farmersagent.com.

Your choices and requests

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to our recordkeeping obligations, by calling (507) 451-1168 or emailing wtuttle@farmersagent.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these choices.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
